Justin Scott Worley (born November 20, 1992) is an American football quarterback. He currently attends the University of Tennessee as a rising junior.

A native of North Carolina,[1] Worley attended Northwestern High School in Rock Hill, South Carolina, where he was teammates with Cordarrelle Patterson. As a sophomore, Worley led Northwestern to state championship game against town-rival South Pointe High.

Regarded as a three-star recruit by Rivals.com, Worley was listed as the No. 24 pro-style quarterback in his class.[2]

College career

Worley played backup to Tyler Bray most of his first two seasons (2011-2012) at Tennessee and only started nine times before 2013. In 2013 he was named the starter after training camp. He is the first starting quarterback under Butch Jones. During the 2013 season he has been a consistent game manager but his success did not lead to overall team success for the most part. he was benched after Tennessee's loss to Oregon for Nate Peterman. Peterman got to start against Florida, but due to Peterman's poor play Worley was put into the Florida game in the second half. His most notable performances are against Georgia, where Tennessee almost upset Georgia in an overtime thriller, and against South Carolina where he led Tennessee to its first win over a ranked team in years with a game changing pass to Marquez North which set up a field goal to win the game. He got injured in the loss against Alabama and will sit due to the injury to his hand the rest of the 2013 season.[3]
