Justin Stanley is an Australian born, initially Sydney based musician/producer who has worked with The Vines, Beck, Holidays On Ice, Daniel Merriweather and others. He is the lead guitarist of Wounded Cougar.[1] He is a former keyboards player and song writer for Noiseworks[2] and the Electric Hippies,[3] and is one half of the BeatHustlers with Mark Ronson and is married to American singer/songwriter Nikka Costa.[4] His production credits include Eric Clapton, Sheryl Crow, Jet, Jamie Lidell, Baby Animals and Ryan Bingham. He also mixed The One AM Radio's This Too Will Pass. Justin currently lives in Sherman Village, California.
Work with Beck
Stanley has toured and recorded with Beck. He joined the band in 2005 for the Guero tour, playing guitars and percussion.[5]
He then went on to play on Beck's album, The Information, and worked with Beck on the soundtrack and score for the film Nacho Libre,[6] starring Jack Black.
