Jure Obšivač (born 28 May 1990 in Metković) is a Croatian football midfielder who is currently playing for NK Istra 1961.

Career

A product of NK Neretva and Hajduk Split academies, Obšivač, signed a 5.5-year professional contract with the latter in January 2009, and made his league debut for the club in September 2009, in a match vs. NK Varaždin, after spending the spring of 2009 on loan to the third-tier GOŠK KG. A young player on the fringes on the squad, he was would then spend the next 2 years on a series of loans to the Druga Liga club NK Dugopolje,[1] where he would become a first team staple. He was returned to Hajduk in early 2012, again finding himself as a substitute, but also playing his first full game for the club in a surprise home defeat to NK Lučko. Remaining a member of the squad until the end of 2012, but unable to gain playing time, he became a free agent, after his contract was cancelled by mutual consent in January 2013.[2]
