Junior 4

A Junior 4 or JR4 is a one-bedroom apartment with a separate dining room or a small bedroom or office.[1] The "4" comes from the number of rooms in the apartment, specifically the bedroom, living room, kitchen, and dining area/small bedroom/office. The term is usually used in the New York City rental market.[2] The use of the term "Junior 4" may be imprecise and confusing to some prospective buyers who may be better equipped with a to-scale floor plan for reference.
