Julien-Léopold Boilly

Julien-Léopold Boilly (30 August 1796, Paris – 14 June 1874), also known as Jules Boilly, was a French artist noted for his 1820 booklet Album de 73 Portraits-Charge Aquarelle’s des Membres de I’Institute containing watercolor caricatures of seventy-three famous mathematicians, in particular French mathematician Adrien-Marie Legendre, the only known portrait of him. He was son of Louis-Léopold Boilly.[1]
