Julie Elliott (born 29 July 1963) is a British Labour Party politician, who has been the Member of Parliament (MP) for Sunderland Central since 2010.[1]
She was educated at Seaham Northlea Comprehensive, and gained a degree in Government and Public Policy at Newcastle Polytechnic.[citation needed]
She became a regional organiser for the GMB Trade Union in 1999.[citation needed]
