Julia Louise Haworth (born 27 July 1979[1]) is an English actress best known as Claire Peacock on ITV's Coronation Street, a role she played from 2003-2011.[2] It was revealed on 25 April 2010, that Haworth had been axed from Coronation Street alongside the rest of the Peacock Family.[3]
Early life
Julia was born in Burnley, Lancashire, attending St Christopher's CE High School in Accrington and later Nelson and Colne College[4] and also Burnley Youth Theatre.
She married Jon Wormald in May 2006.
Julia went on maternity leave from Coronation Street in July 2008 and gave birth to a daughter, Sophia Elizabeth, at Salford Royal, on 25 July. She returned in Spring 2009.[5]
