Juan Pablo Garat (born 19 April 1983 in Buenos Aires) is an Argentine association footballer who currently plays for FC Aarau. Garat started his playing career in 2004 with Club Atlético Atlanta. He joined FC St. Gallen in 2005.

On 15 June 2010, Juan Pablo Garat signed Dinamo Bucureşti. Aerially very solid centerback with slightly above average positioning for a defender in Romania but almost typically just as slow as you'd expect such a guy to be. Nonetheless he managed to score 2 goals in just 2 games and quickly won the hearts of the fans over with that. In that period he played for the first time in an international competition, appearing in 3 games and scoring 1 goal in Europa League.

He left Romania in 2010, joining FC Aarau in the summer of 2011.
