Juan Luis Carrera

Juan Luis Carrera is a musician and recording engineer based in Washington, D.C. As a musician, Carrera was the bassist for the Dischord Records band The Warmers and has also played with bands like Lungfish, Lois, Junk Man Ran, and The Junction.
More recently he's been running the D.C. based label Slowdime Records with friend John Wall and focusing his energies on his career as a live music and recording engineer for a number of touring acts. In this capacity Carrera has worked with bands like: Modest Mouse, Sleater-Kinney, Bright Eyes, Tortoise, The Sea and Cake, The Hold Steady and Hoover.
