Joyce Sombroek (Alkmaar, September 10, 1990) is the goalkeeper of the field hockey team of the Netherlands. Her international debut was on June 29, 2010 and since that game she played at every tournament. Besides the medals she won with the Dutch team, Sombroek won several individual titles and got picked for the international All Star team in 2010 and 2011.[1] With her clubteam Laren she became vice-champion of the Netherlands in 2010, 2011 and 2012 and European Clubchampion in 2012.

Besides her hockey career Joyce Sombroek studies medicine at the Vrije Universiteit in Amsterdam.
