The Journal of Management was established in 1975 and is a peer-reviewed academic journal published by SAGE Publications and sponsored by the Southern Management Association that publishes both empirical and theoretical research articles in the field of management. The journal is published on a bimonthly basis. Areas covered are business strategy & policy, organizational behavior, human resource management, organizational theory, entrepreneurship, and research methods. Biannual review issues are published in January and July.

The current editor is Deborah E. Rupp of Purdue University, along with Senior Associate Editor Patrick M.
