Joshi Helgesson (born 7 June 1993) is a Swedish figure skater. She is the 2014 Bavarian Open champion, 2011 Nebelhorn Trophy bronze medalist, and the 2013 Swedish national champion.

Career

Helgesson finished 4th at the 2009 World Junior Championships. In the 2009–2010 season, she debuted on the senior Grand Prix series. She made her senior World debut at the 2011 World Championships in Moscow, where she finished 15th, and her European Championships debut in 2012, finishing 10th.

In the early part of the 2012–2013 season, Helgesson sustained a stress fracture of the fibula in her take-off leg but returned to the ice two weeks before the 2012 Cup of China.[1] She won the 2013 Swedish national title ahead of her sister.

Personal life

Joshi Helgesson's elder sister, Viktoria, is also a competitive skater, and their mother, Christina, is their coach.[2][3]
