Josh Hodgson (born (1989-10-31) 31 October 1989 in Hull) is an English rugby league player for Hull Kingston Rovers. His position of choice is Hooker, and has established himself there during his time in the Hull academy. He played for amateur side East Hull and is following in his fathers footsteps signing for Hull. Hodgson has played at England Under 17's and 18's level. Since signing for Hull from amateur side East Hull, he has progressed through the club's academy ranks. In September 2009 Hodgson signed for Hull rugby league side, Hull Kingston Rovers. In 2012, Hodgson was called up to the England Knights squad to play Ireland, where he scored a debut try. In October 2013, Josh was named captain of England Knights and first standby for the England World Cup Squad if first team hookers James Roby or Michael McIlorum were unavailable for selection.[2]
