Joseba del Olmo García (born 20 June 1981) is a Spanish professional footballer who plays for CD Laudio as a left winger.

Club career

Del Olmo was born in Barakaldo, Biscay. From 1999 to 2004 he played in the Spanish lower leagues (fourth division or lower), joining subsequently Barakaldo CF and Sestao River Club (third level).

In 2007–08, del Olmo represented second division's SD Eibar. At the season's end, Basque neighbours Athletic de Bilbao paid the 300,000 buyout clause in his contract and, on 13 June 2008, del Olmo signed a one-year contract, which included automatic renewal for another year if the player appeared in a minimum of 22 official games as well as a buyout clause of €20million;[1] he was officially presented by the club four days later.[2]

After an uneventful season del Olmo was released and returned to level two, signing a two-year deal with Hércules CF. Although he rarely started and did not find the net throughout the campaign, he did appear in 20 matches, as the Alicante side returned to the top division after 13 years.
