From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
José Sanjenis Perdomo was a Cuban secret police agent during the rule of Fulgencio Batista who went into exile in the United States after the rise of Fidel Castro to power.[1] As a CIA agent, he provided lists of people related to Batista whom the United States might be able to trust. He later headed the Cuban version of Operation 40. He later found work as a doorman at The Dakota where he witnessed the assassination of John Lennon on December 8, 1980.[2][3]
