José Vidal (December 15, 1896 – July 3, 1974) was an Uruguayan football player who competed in the 1924 Summer Olympics.

Vidal was a player of Belgrano Montevideo most of his club career. From 4 November 1923 to 9 June 1924 he capped in 7 games of La Celeste in which he scored 1 goal. Also, he was a part of Uruguayan team at 1922 South American Championship, but he didn't play during the tournament. Next year Vidal, as player of Nacional, take part in 1922 South American Championship where he became one of the leaders of Celeste. He played in all 3 games of his team that won this championship.

He was a member of the Uruguayan team, which won the gold medal in the football tournament of 1924 Summer Olympic games.
