This name uses Spanish naming customs; the first or paternal family name is Herrada and the second or maternal family name is López.
José Herrada Lopez (born 1 October 1985) is a Spanish professional road bicycle racer, who rides for UCI ProTeam Movistar Team.[1] His brother Jesús is also a professional cyclist, and is a member of the Movistar Team, like his brother.
Born in Mota del Cuervo, Herrada has been competing as a professional since the 2006 season, competing for the Viña Magna-Cropu, Contentpolis-Murcia and Caja Rural teams prior to joining the Movistar Team for the 2012 season.[2] Herrada made his Grand Tour début at the 2012 Giro d'Italia; during the sixteenth stage, Herrada was part of the stage-long breakaway, and ended up finishing the stage in fifth place.[3][4]
