José Antonio Santesteban

José Antonio Santesteban (San Sebastián, 1809 – San Sebastián, 1884[1]) was a Basque composer, who in the year of his death 1884 completed Prudente, the first opera in Basque to a libretto by Serafin Baroja.[2][3][4][5] He was organist in Santa Maria, Donostia.[6][7]
