Jonsereds Fabrikers AB

Jonsered is a brand used by Electrolux for chainsaws and other equipment. The brand is derived from the now defunct manufacturing company Jonsereds Fabrikers AB.
History
William Gibson founded a textile mill in 1832 in Jonsered. In 1872 the company became a limited company, Jonsered Fabriker AB, diversifying its textile output. By the 1880s it was producing and exporting woodworking machines. In 1975 it became a subsidiary of Investment AB Ash and parts were shut down and others sold. In 1978 it was sold to Electrolux and production was moved to Husqvarna.
