Jonathan Thake

Jonathan Thake is a television writer best known for ‘the slag of all snacks’ campaign for Pot Noodle.[citation needed] His first comedy series, The Persuasionists, premiered on Wednesday 13 January 2010 on BBC2.

Biography

Thake and Lee Tan began working together as a creative team when they were paired by a headhunter in 1997 for a placement with Bartle Bogle Hegarty. The pair were hired by HHCL in 1998, which is the "slag of all snacks" campaign they directed launched in 2002.[1]

Thake wrote a pilot episode about a fictional advertising agency, "The Scum Also Rises", that was broadcast on BBC3 in 2007. It was picked up by BBC2[2] and the series, The Persuasionists, premiered on 13 January 2010.[3]
