Jonas Aslaksen (born in Åmli, Aust-Agder, Norway on April 3, 1988), better known by his stage name Jonas Alaska, is a Norwegian musician, singer-songwriter. He is the brother of Thomas Aslaksen.
He studied music at the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts. He played drums in the band Dalton for a while. He released his debut self-titled album Jonas Alaska with great reception, reaching #5 on VG-lista, the official Norwegian Albums Chart. He was nominated for three categories at the 2011 Spellemannprisen for "Best songwriter", "Best Male Artist" and "Best Newcomer of the Year". He also performed at festivals such as Øyafestivalen, Slottsfjellfestivalen and by:Larm all in 2011.
