John Wick is an upcoming American action thriller film directed by David Leitch and Chad Stahelski and written by Derek Kolstad. The film stars Keanu Reeves, Bridget Moynahan and Willem Dafoe.

Plot

A former hitman is pursued by an old friend who was contracted by a crime boss to kill him.

Production

On May 7, 2013 Keanu Reeves was added to the directing debut of David Leitch and Chad Stahelski to play the title role John Wick, producing by Thunder Road Pictures.[1] On September 12 Willem Dafoe also joined cast to play villain role.[3] There were four more to cast includes Adrianne Palicki, Alfie Allen, Dean Winters and Michael Nyqvist[5] On October 14 Bridget Moynahan joined the cast to play Reeves' character John Wick's wife.[2] On October 15 Jason Isaacs also joined the lead cast of the film.[4] On November 27 Daniel Bernhardt also joined cast of the film.[6]

Filming

The shooting of the film began on October 14, 2013 in Mill Neck, New York.[2] On December 1, 2013 Reeves and Dafoe were filming several scenes in New York City.[7] On December 19 Reeves was spotted filming a scene in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.[8]
