John Troxell is an American football coach in the United States.

Coaching career

Troxell is the current head college football coach for the Franklin & Marshall Diplomats located in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. He held that position for 8 seasons, from 2006 until 2013.[1] His coaching record at Franklin & Marshall was 43 wins and 41 losses. As of the conclusion of the 2013 season, this ranks him #4 at Franklin & Marshall in total wins. In 2009, Troxell was named Centennial Conference Coach of the year and was a finalist for the coveted Liberty Mutual Coach of the Year Award after his team posted a 9-2 season and won an ECAC Championship. Four of the last five seasons have seen his teams selected for post season play. His 2013 team won the 2013 Southeast ECAC Championship game by defeating Delaware Valley College 38-14.[2]
