John Ronald Angus Stroyan[8] (born 1955, Scotland) has been the Anglican Bishop of Warwick[9] since 2005.[10] He was educated at Harrow School, the University of St Andrews[11] and Queen's College, Edgbaston[12] before embarking on a curacy at St Peter’s Hillfields.[13] From 1987 until 1994 he was Vicar at St Chad, Smethwick,[14] then Bloxham for a further 9 years before promotion to Area Dean of Deddington in 2002. His pastoral dedication lead to elevation to the Episcopate[1] when Anthony Priddis was promoted to Hereford.
