John Lillie Gillies (1832–1897) was a 19th-century Member of Parliament from the Otago Region of New Zealand.

He represented the Waikouaiti electorate from 1873 to 1875, when he resigned.[1]

He was the brother of Thomas Gillies and Robert Gillies.[2][3]
