John Knotwell[2] is an American politician and a Republican member of the Utah House of Representatives representing District 52 since January 1, 2013.
Education
Knotwell earned his AS in political science from Utah Valley State College (now Utah Valley University) and his BA in the subject with a minor in history from the University of Utah.
Elections
- 2012 With District 52 incumbent appointed Republican Representative Daniel McCay redistricted to District 41, Knotwell was selected from four candidates by the Republican convention and won the three-way November 6, 2012 General election with 9,928 votes (73.6%) against Democratic nominee Daniel Paget and Independent candidate Aaron Davis.[3]
