John Florencio

John Florencio is a Filipino-American pianist.

Biography

Born in Manila, Florencio studied classical piano at the University of Santo Tomas during his high school years.^[1] He graduated from of the San Francisco Conservatory of Music with a degree in Piano Performance and is co-founder of the San Francisco Academy For The Performing Arts.^[2]

Florencio currently lives in Paris, France where he is on the faculty of American Musical Theatre Live.^[3] He is the music director for the 2013 Paris premieres of the musicals Edges^[4] and The Last Five Years.^[5]
