John Brunsdon

John Brunsdon ARCA is a British printmaker. He was born in Cheltenham in 1933. Brunsdon studied at the Cheltenham College of Art from 1949 to 1953, and the Royal College of Art from 1955 to 1958. From 1958 to 1963 he was resident at Digswell House then moved to Woburn, Bedfordshire when he began teaching portrait painting part-time at St. Albans School of Art. In 1969 Brunsdon established the printmaking department at St. Albans, where he taught full time until moving to Suffolk in 1977. He continues to live and work in Suffolk.
