John Algeo

John Algeo (1930) is the Professor Emeritus of English in the University of Georgia.[1] He is a Theosophist and a Free Mason[2] He was the Vice President of the Theosophical Society Adyar. He was born in St Louis, Missouri. He was a student of the University of Florida. He joined the army and served in the Korean War and became a sergeant. He was the President of the Theosophical Society America, President of the American Dialect Society[3][4]
