Joey Kitson from Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island is the three-time ECMA Award winning vocalist for Rawlins Cross. Kitson is currently starring in a production of "Stan Rogers - A Matter of Heart" a musical review of the legendary Stan Rogers at the Mackenzie Theatre in downtown Charlottetown. In support of the review, Kitson released "Stan", an eclectic reinterpretation of songs written by Rogers on Warner Music's Ground Swell imprint. Kitson is slated to star in the Charlottetown Festival's production of Christmas Rocks (Canada Rocks Christmas) at the Confederation Centre of the Arts in December, 2009.

In 2007, Kitson starred in British Invasion at the Confederation Centre of the Arts. Previously (2006), he starred alongside Matt Minglewood & Terry Hatty in the Charlottetown Festival's 2 year run of Canada Rocks at the Confederation Centre of the Arts.

Kitson is no stranger to the bright lights of the mainstage, having performed in some of Prince Edward Islands biggest bands (Rock Island Blues Band, Black Cat Bone, Poppa Shine, Jive Kings and Big City, to name a few) as well as being a Juno Award nominee & a three-time ECMA award winner for his tenure in Rawlins Cross.
