Joe Wardle is a professional rugby league player who is currently contracted to the Huddersfield Giants of Super League.
Joe hails from the Ovenden district of Halifax and has come through the ranks at the Grattan Stadium after signing from Illingworth ARLFC. He has a fine turn of pace and a tremendous kicking game. His versatility - he can play Stand Off, Loose Forward and Centre - will make him a useful addition to the Squad for the 2010 season.
Joe made his debut against Warrington Wolves in Cup in May 2010.
After performing well in the first half of the season, Joe got given a two year contract extension, keeping him at the Galpharm Stadium until the end of 2014.[2]
