Joe Lobenstein

Joe Lobenstein MBE[1] is a spokesman for the Union of Orthodox Hebrew Congregations (Kedassia)[2] and a Conservative politician in London.

He was formerly the vice-president of the Orthodox Hebrew Congregation[3] and chairman of their external affairs committee.[4] He was the mayor of Hackney Borough Council four times in a row.[1] He was for many years the only non-Labour party councillor in Hackney.[5] He was the leader of the Conservative group of Councillors until 1997.[6]
