Joe Linder

Joseph Charles Linder (12 August 1886 in Hancock, Michigan 28 June 1948) was a retired ice hockey player. Linder played for the Portage Lakes Hockey Club, which was considered one of the best American teams at the time. Linder has been referred as the “first great American-born hockey player.”[1] He was inducted into the United States Hockey Hall of Fame in 1974.
