Salvatore Lazzara, better known by his boxing alias Joe Dundee, was an American boxer. His career began with two straight losses in four-round bouts. Nevertheless, Dundee continued boxing.

Dundee fought Kid Williams in Baltimore and lost by DSQ. He also fought Mel Coogan in Maryland. Joe won by decision.

Dundee fought Pete Latzo for the NYSAC World welterweight title, and the World Welterweight Title at the Polo Grounds. Dundee beat him by decision.

Dundee also fought Joe Tiplitz in two fights. The first fight they fought to a draw in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The second fight Dundee beat Joe by decision in Baltimore, Maryland.

Dundee also fought Bert Colima for the Mexican welterweight title. Dundee beat Colima by decision in Mexico City.

Joe fought Harry Mason at Madison Square Garden and won by decision.

Dundee lost his crown when he was disqualified in two rounds in a bout with Jackie Wilson (Boxer). He retired from the ring with a record of 89 wins (23 KOs), 26 losses, and 10 draws. He was also credited with scoring a TKO victory over hall of famer Mickey Walker.
