Joe Callero is an American college basketball coach and the current head men's basketball coach at Cal Poly California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo. He replaced outgoing coach Kevin Bromley in 2009.[1][2]

Prior to accepting the job at Cal Poly, Callero spent eight seasons as the head coach at Seattle University.[1][2]

Callero grew up with his Italian Catholic family in Mercer Island, Washington, and is one of 16 children.[3] His younger brother Marc played for him at Highline Community College (1990-92) and is currently an assistant coach at Pacific Lutheran University.
