Jitu Jirati (born August 8, 1976) ia an Indian Politician. Currently he is MLA in Rau constituency of Madhya Pradesh in India. His father RameshChandra Jirati is a Social Activist. Born in a very humble background of a middle class family in rural area of Malva in a village Bijalpur, he had an inclination for volunteering from a very young age. His formal induction in social service started as a ‘Swayam Sewak’of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), a socio-cultural organization, dedicated to the service of the nation. After serving in the RSS, he entered mainstream politics with joining the Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP), a national leading political party of India. Owing to his excellent organizing capabilities, he was designated on the level of District President of the Indore Unit of Yuwa Morcha(BJP's Youth Cell). He successfully carried out the necessary groundwork for making ‘Youth BJP’ shine in Rural Indore. In 2008, party announce him as the candidate to fight the Rau Constitunecy and he becomes one of the most Young MLA's of MP's Legislature. Promoted as the State President of Youth BJP, in 2009, he revamped the party organization in all the districts of state. Serving as the MLA of Rau, he has proved that “Good Governance is also Good Politics”. He is former State President of Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha.
