Jithan is a 2005 Tamil-language film directed by Vincent Selva. The film stars debutant Jithan Ramesh (brother of Jeeva), Pooja, Sarath Kumar, Livingston and Kalabhavan Mani. The film's score and soundtrack are composed by Srikanth Deva. The film was a surprise hit in 2005. It is written by noted personality, Ram Gopal Varma and produced by Raadan Network owned by Raadhika. A remake of Bollywood film, Gayab.

Plot

Priya breaks the affair with Surya after she gets a proposal from a rich man Ajay. Surya by accident becomes invisible. He hits Ajay and advises Priya to give up Ajay. As he is invisible and others can only hear his voice, he tells them that he is God. Taking the advantage of invisibility, he loots a bank. Thamizharasu is the ACP who is assigned to investigate the bank robbery.Later on in the film Surya reveals that he'd loved Priya (Pooja)since his childhood. Then Singampuli shoots Surya as the rain sows where Surya is.

Box office

The film made on a Rs.9 crore budget opened big in Tamil Nadu. The film was an average success.
