Jinxed is an American fantasy-comedy television film that premiered on Nickelodeon on November 29, 2013. The film stars Ciara Bravo (from Big Time Rush) and Jack Griffo (from The Thundermans). The film was shot entirely in Vancouver, Canada.[1]

Plot

The film is about the Murphy family, who become beasts of bad luck. In 1914, Great Great Grandpa Tommy Murphy went to a town festival with Kaitlin O'Leary, then Violet, a girl that liked Tommy, kissed him in front of Kaitlin. He went after Kaitlin and accidentally tore down her dress, revealing her white underwear. She was so angry, that Kaitlin cursed him, and every Murphy after him, forever. Now, Meg Murphy (played by Ciara Bravo) sets out on an adventure with the help of her younger brother Charlie (Jacob Bertrand). They sneak into the Harvest Hills Historical museum and retrieve Tommy Murphy's "lucky coin". They succeed and Meg goes to the Harvest Hills Dance with Brett (a long descendant of Kaitlin O'Leary) and gives him the coin. His family then receives the curse, but only for a day. Meg finds out that what happened when she gave him the coin. Meg runs to his house to find that an angry monkey has thrown half of their furniture out of the windows. Meg knocks on his door only to find that Brett's cousin "the bully", Ivy Murry, opens the door. Meg is called "Hurricane Meg" at school by Ivy and everyone else at school because of the curse. Meg tells Ivy she cursed her family by accident by giving Brett the coin. Ivy and Meg race to the closing ceremony, where Brett gives Meg the coin back. Meg almost falls off the edge of the tower, but Brett saves her, and they kiss.
