James Patrick Mayer (born October 30, 1954 in Capreol, Ontario) was a professional ice hockey player who played four games in the National Hockey League and 74 in the World Hockey Association. He played with the Hartford Whalers, Calgary Cowboys, Edmonton Oilers, and New York Rangers.
