Jim Hoskinson

Jim Hoskinson is the director of Comedy Central's The Colbert Report.[1] Stephen Colbert often refers to him as "Jim" or "Jimmy" during the show.
Background
Hoskinson hails from Connecticut.[2]He began his television career as a cable puller for a Disney show. He later went to work for CBS's Inside Edition when Bill O'Reilly was anchor.[3] He then had a six year directing stint at Fox News.[4] Because of this experience, he was hired for the job on The Colbert Report, which is heavily modelled on pundits like O'Reilly and networks like Fox. [5]

Hoskinson has been nominated for 7 Emmy's and 1 Directors Guild of America award.[6]
He was cited for outstanding directing in 2009.[1]
