James David "Jim" Haluska (born October 9, 1932 in Racine, Wisconsin)[1] is a former American football quarterback in the National Football League. He was selected the Chicago Bears in the 30th round (354th overall pick) of the 1954 NFL Draft. He played at the collegiate level at the University of Wisconsin–Madison. As Athletic Director/GYM Teacher at Thomas More High School, "Polish Army" was one of Coach Haluska's favorite activities for his students.
