Jim Goetz is a venture capitalist at Sequoia Capital in Silicon Valley. Goetz currently sits on the board of directors for Appirio, Barracuda Networks, Drawbrid.ge, Flite, HubSpot, Metaswitch, Nimble Storage, Palo Alto Networks, Pocket Gems, Ruckus Wireless, Sencha and he also works with WhatsApp. In the past he sat on the boards of AdMob, Clearwell Systems, eMeter, Jive Software, Karma, and PeakStream.[1]
Prior to joining Sequoia Capital in 2004, he had been a General Partner at Accel Partners and a founder of VitalSigns (LU). He has a BS in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Cincinnati and an MS in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University.[1]
