Jesús Felipe Rodríguez (born December 20, 1979 in Salinas, California) is a Mexican American professional boxer in the Welterweight division and is the former GBU Intercontinental Light Welterweight Champion.[1][2]
Pro career
After losing his pro debut, he lost to undefeated Vladimir Zykov (15-0).
GBU Intercontinential Championship
In February 2007, Jesús Felipe took out José Alfredo Barrera to win the GBU Intercontinental Championship, then he went onto defeat Hector Alatorre and Dairo José Esalas.
On October 19, 2007 Rodríguez upset the undefeated Omri Lowther, the bout was held at the Raley Field in West Sacramento, California.[3]
Jesús lost close fights to undefeated Mexican American Mike Alvarado, then to former WBC and IBF Light Welterweight champion Devon Alexander.[4]
