Jeanette Olsson

Jeanette Olsson (born 1973) is a Swedish singer and songwriter.

Jeanette Olsson was born in Stockholm, Sweden, into a musical family. She started singing almost before she could talk.
From 4th to 9th grade, Jeanette attended a special music school, Sollentuna Musik-klasser,[1] where she received instruction in technique, history, and group singing.
In Stockholm, she began doing some session work for a songwriter friend, Andreas Carlsson.[2] When Carlsson emerged as one of the top writers of the legendary Cheiron Studios, Jeanette quickly found herself as one of Sweden's most sought after session singer. As the Swedish music scene exploded with worldwide impact, Jeanette was recording, arranging, and producing backing vocals for almost every major international pop artist of our time. Jeanette's vocals have appeared on tracks by artists such as Jennifer Lopez, Britney Spears, Celine Dion, Santana, LeAnn Rimes, Meatloaf, Jessica Simpson,[3] Samantha Mumba, Christina Milian, Mýa, Steps, Ronan Keating, Atomic Kitten, Gareth Gates, Will Young and many others.

Jeanette is based in Los Angeles since 2010. She has co-written and sung the title track for Disneynature movie "Pollen" (" Hidden Beauty: A Love Story That Feeds the Earth " in English) released in France March 16th 2011. On April 16th 2013 is was released in the US with the title "WINGS OF LIFE". Her voice is heard on commercials for "Fiat 500", “Gillette Venus", "Sears", "7UP" and "Ultra" and on the movie score for "Soulsurfer" and "Rock of Ages". Together with some talented LA singers, she has sung on the new Disney parade "Soundsational" that premiered May 26th 2011 at Disneyland California. Since early 2011, Jeanette became one of the regular backing-vocalists on the award-winning TV-show GLEE. Occasionally, Jeanette is also working as vocal coach on the Paramount stage where GLEE is being filmed.
