Jeanette Jo Epps (born November 3, 1970) is a CIA intelligence officer, and current NASA astronaut.[1][2][3] Born in Syracuse, New York, Epps lives in Houston, Texas.[1]
Education
Epps holds a bachelor in science degree in physics from Le Moyne College, and a Ph.D in aerospace engineering from the University of Maryland.[1] Epps is currently undergoing the astronaut candidacy training program at Johnson Space Center.[1][2]
NASA career
Epps was selected as an astronaut candidate in June 2009.[1] She qualified as an astronaut in 2011.
