Jean-Jacques Kilama, or simply Kilama, (Chinese: 基藍馬) (born October 13, 1985, in Cameroon) is a Cameroonian defender. He is currently playing for Sunray Cave JC Sun Hei in the Hong Kong First Division League.

Club career

Indonesia

Kilama played in Indonesia [1] before moving to Hong Kong. Then his elder brother, Roger,[1] a player formerly played for Rangers(HKG), suggested him to move to Hong Kong to join Rangers(HKG) in the Hong Kong First Division League.

Hong Kong

Kilama joined Rangers(HKG) in 2008. Although he had an impressive performance in the first season, Rangers(HKG) relegated. Therefore, he signed for Fourway Rangers.

In July 2010, Kilama was selected for Hong Kong League Selection against Birmingham City in the Hong Kong Stadium.[2]

Sun Hei SC

In the 2011/12 season, Kilama moved to Sunray Cave JC SUn Hei from Fourway Rangers. On 22 October 2011, Kilama was sent off in the match against Biu Chun Rangers. Coach Ricardo hopes he can learn from this experience.[3] On 7 January 2012, Kilama was sent off and gave away a penalty after elbowing TSW Pegasus defender Lucas. Sun Hei lost the game 1-3.[4]

2009 Hong Kong scandal

In October 2009, Happy Valley player Yu Yang bribed Kilama to play an unfair match against Happy Valley. However, Kilama rejected and told this to the director of his club Lee Fai Lup Philip. He later reported this incident to the Hong Kong Football Association. On 5 May 2010, ICAC of Hong Kong confirmed this scandal and arrested five Chinese football players, including former Fourway Rangers Yu Yang.[5]
