Jay Watson (born May 27, 1990) is an Australian multi-instrumentalist and psychedelic rock musician, singer, songwriter. He is best known as a member of the bands Tame Impala and Pond, and his solo project GUM.[1]
Music
Under the GUM moniker, Watson's management company, Spinning Top, announced in December 2013 that the debut album, Delorean Highway, will be released in early 2014. The album is promoted as a collection of "paranoid pop songs" that are "mostly about falling in love and all of the things that he thinks are going to kill him [Watson]."[2]
Personal life
During the recording of Delorean Highway, Watson resided in the beach suburb of Cottesloe in Perth, Western Australia. As of December 2013, Watson's place of residence is unknown.[2]
