John Joseph "Jay" Joyce (born in Cleveland, Ohio) is an American record producer and session musician. In the 1980s, he was a member of the rock band In Pursuit, which recorded for MTM Records.[1][2] After In Pursuit broke up, he founded another band called Bedlam.[3]
Joyce began working as a record producer in the 1990s, working with The Wallflowers, Emmylou Harris, Patty Griffin, Rubyhorse, Cage the Elephant, The Warren Brothers, Eric Church, and Little Big Town.[4] [5][6] He has also played guitar for The Wallflowers, John Hiatt, Iggy Pop, Brendan Benson and Radney Foster.[7]
