Jason Tali is an Papua New Guinean rugby league player who represented his country in the 2013 World Cup.

Playing career

He currently plays for the Mount Hagen Eagles in PNG. His position is at centre.He is a Hagen native, he is one of the best centers in Papua New Guiana, well known for his big hits, his trade mark fend offs and his fancy foot works. He started his rubgy league career in 2005 and in the same year he represented PNG in the Junior Kundus to Russia. In 2006 ,his talent and skill cought the eyes of Max Tiri, and he was selected to play for the Chemica Cowboys ( now Mt Hagen Eagles). Later in 2007 the naming rights was changed to Eagles again, and Jasion was part of that team. In 2008 he played for the Hagen Eagles , who went to becoming the runners up ,losing to Mendi Muruks.In 2009 he went to Enga Mioks and played for 3 years there, while there he played in 2 grand finals losing both. In 2012 he came back to the Eageles (as Captain) and was the best center in the country that time. He debuted for the Kumuls in 2012,and played in the 2013 RLWC in England.[1]
