Jason Baitieri (born 2 July 1989 in Paris, France) is a French-Australian professional rugby league footballer for the Catalans Dragons of Super League. A France international representative forward, he previously played for the Sydney Roosters of the National Rugby League.

Junior career

The son of former player and coach Tas Baitieri, Jason was born in Paris, but played junior rugby league in Toulouse before returning to Castle Hill, New South Wales when he was 8 to play for the Hills District Bulls, a team in the Parramatta District Junior Rugby League competition, based in Baulkham Hills. He also played for the Australian Schoolboys rugby league team.

NRL career

He made his first grade debut against the Wests Tigers at Campbelltown in May 2010. He has signed a two-year deal with the Catalans Dragons in France.[2] At the end of the 2010 season he represented France in the Alitalia European Cup.
